Philip Waltrip has worked with Allied since 1995 initially as their CPA, then officially joining the team in 2008 as Chief Financial Officer. Today, Philip is the Chief Credit Officer for Allied. He has over 25 years of experience in management, with expertise in accounting, tax, mergers and acquisitions, human resources, workouts, and as an advisor in civil litigations. Philip has worked or has been an advisor for several businesses through his career all in different industries including manufacturing, factoring, consumer finance, construction, healthcare nursing, pharmacies and infusion care, staffing, oil and gas, real estate, cattle, helicopter, airline, advertising, public relations and many others. As Allied’s Chief Credit Officer, Philip is responsible for the overall credit risk and analysis for the factoring and ABL division of Axiom Bank N.A. He is actively involved in working with new and existing clients as well, often meeting with them throughout the year and visiting their operations. Philip has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with an emphasis on accounting, graduating from the University of Texas at Dallas. He also has his CPA license. Philip enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time with his family and their dog, Bear.
